I am an assistant professor of finance in the Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University and a research member of the European Corporate Governance Institute. My research interests lie in corporate finance, particularly capital and ownership structure, as well as corporate governance.
My latest research projects have focused on poison pills and other defensive measures adopted by firms, agency conflicts between debtholders and shareholders and its effect on investment policy, the impact of corporate governance choices on production and externality generation, and strategic learning incentives and corporate investment. For more information on these projects, please see my research page.
